- Support for the Bekaa Water and Wastewater Establishment (BWE) in the form of a decision-making support tool for aquifer exploitation based on a pilot action centered on Zahlé, Lebanon.
- Workshops bringing together different key stakeholders including the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW), Bekaa Water Establishment (BWE), Litani River Authority (LRA), Zahle Municipality, representatives of the agricultural, industrial, and tourism sectors in Zahlé, as well as researchers, institutions and university actors to:
- assess the situation of the underground water in Zahlé;
- plan and possibly implement actions that would allow the protection and sustainable use of underground water resources in Zahlé and the Berdawni basin
