Building the capacity of municipalities and unions of municipalities - Training toolkit
This Training of Trainers’ toolkit is the Module II of the Municipal Training Curriculum. It is addressed to all individuals who, having acquired the basic foundational notions of spatial planning in Module I, aspire to train participants on the spatial strategic planning process. Its objective is to:
- Empower future trainers with the tools they need to create positive social and economic change at the level of municipalities and unions of municipalities.
- Focus on a community-centric approach: Our focus extends beyond technical skills. It’s about understanding the local communities’ dynamics—their needs, aspirations, and challenges.
- Apply a holistic vision to strategic planning: We’ll explore multiplanar navigation, weaving together governance, spatial, social, economic and cultural stakes, dynamics and dimensions.
